Does your windows keeps freezing or crashing? And you don’t know why?
You can find error messages, but such messages can not be understood easily by ordinary user. When a system crashes, it usually leaves behind something called a “crash dump”. This crash dump contains information about what happened. It is possible to read what’s going on with built-in tool Event Viewer, but many users do not even know that it exists.
WhoCrashed is a neat tool for performing crash dump analysis to isolate hardware, software, and driver problems. The program is designed to read the crash dump files with a single click. Just open it, press Analyze and it will tell you what driver/hardware caused the problem. While it will not tell you exactly what happened, it lists a hardware error message or a driver file that failed which you can Google and find the cause.
This gives you a solution to the problem. It is usually a good idea to update the software program or driver to the latest version to see if the upgrade fixes the issue. Sometimes a downgrade is the fix and sometimes you need to uninstall a software or module to fix it. With WhoCrashed you can do that much easier.
My crush dumps are enabled, so I am pretty lucky, hugh?
