Is Rapidshare only a file hosting service? For many users it’s a place where you can get everything you ever wanted.
I won’t tell you how to get a premium account (and get much better speeds, downloads, no waiting time). The point is: if you are free user, you have some limitations: waiting around 45 seconds, entering an image verification code and being patient.
RapGet
This tiny (200kb only) download manager tool allows you download Rapidshare files simultaneously either premium or free account. With free Rapidshare accounts RapGet will enter CAPTCHA codes for you, automatically download queued files when they are ready. Besides that, RapGet download manager also supports planty other file hosting services (i.e. rapidshare.com, rapidshare.de, megaupload.com, slil.ru, sendspace.com, box.net) and work similar like rapidshare way.

Offers downloading in multiple paralell streams, captcha recognition, automatical file extraction and much more. Of course, is absolutely free of charge. Premium accounts are supported as well.

Raptor
From the author’s website: There is no need to follow links, look for the correct button, wait parts to download. Just add to the list of all links and choose the folder to save the files, the rest will be made automatically!
Just copy the download URL, click the plus button in Raptor, and paste. Raptor takes care of sitting through Rapidshare’s imposed wait times so you don’t have to.

It’s redesigned now and looks much more beter. More than 7 000 000 files in their database.
They offer search toolbars for FF and IE. They also offer search bar for your site.
